Senior Stock Controller

The Senior Stock Controller is a vital position at Klan Logistics Limited, responsible for steering core operational priorities, maintaining high standards of service delivery, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in Kampala. In this role, the incumbent will leverage their specialized knowledge to resolve day-to-day challenges, drive team performance, and support the strategic objectives of Klan Logistics Limited.

• •Oversee junior team members, ensure adherence to company health and safety policies, and implement process improvements
• •Approve loading orders, manage inventory transfers, and verify documents.
• •Oversee daily inventory control operations.
• •Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts to ensure physical stock matches. system records and investigate any discrepancies.
• •Conduct regular cycle counts and stock-takes and perform reconciliations to identify gains/losses.
• •Maintain accurate stock records and reports.

• ✓Analyze supply chain data to anticipate future stock requirements, reducing the risk of shortages or excess inventory.
• ✓Coordinate inbound and outbound stock movements
• ✓Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring that the warehouse layout is optimized for efficiency and safety.
• ✓Ensure compliance with safety and handling protocols to ensure storage areas meet health and safety standards
• ✓Maintain detailed records of inventory, including receiving reports, inventory movement, and damage reports, and prepare regular reports for management.
• ✓Generate inventory reports, analyze data, and forecast replenishment needs to prevent stock-outs or overstocking
