seeking a talented and proactive Reporting and Document Control Engineer to join its technology and systems team in Kampala. . The role holder will play an integral part in developing, securing, and maintaining critical technology infrastructure and digital platforms that empower the organization's daily operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, test, and maintain robust, scalable software applications and technology infrastructure for Aldelia Limited.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network connectivity, and operating system issues for end-users across Kampala.
  • Implement stringent cybersecurity safeguards, data encryption standards, access control policies, and system backup protocols.
  • Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into high-performance technical specifications.
  • Administer cloud infrastructure, database servers, API integrations, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability audits, software patch deployments, and performance optimization benchmarking.
  • Develop comprehensive technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and user troubleshooting manuals.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and digital tools to enhance organizational operational efficiency and digital transformation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
  • At least 2 to 5 years of professional experience in software development, systems administration, or IT support.
  • Hands-on proficiency with modern programming languages, database systems (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud architectures.
  • Practical knowledge of network security, firewall configuration, data protection protocols, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system incidents independently.
  • Industry certifications (such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Security+, AWS, Microsoft Certified, or ITIL) are highly advantageous.
